D and I are hanging tough

I am currently at my sister's house working from here. She is, too. Why you ask? Number 1 -cuz it's fun. Number 2 - tonight is the New Kids concert, and we are having a pre-party here starting at 3pm. We will be listening to New Kids, watching New Kids, talking about New Kids...and drinking alcohol. Obviously.

I don't think I can tell you the emotions I'm feeling right now. It's been almost 20 years since I got to see them in concert and back then, it was what I lived for. Seriously. I can't even begin to tell you how happy it made me to get tickets to their concerts back then. And being able to just get a small piece of that feeling back this many years later-even if it's just nostalgic-is pretty great.

Oh who am I kidding-it's not nostalgia. I still effing love them and am going to scream my head off tonight because they are awesome. I hope they recognize me without my perm.

More details to follow.

P.S. Joey is hot.

Dammit! They don't play in SLC until November 15. That's so far away! I can't wait to hear your review (and Tor's, too). Tell Donnie I love him.

My BFF says that my honey looks like Jordan. I dunno tho. I always like Jonathan. Well, back in the day. Perhaps my "type" has changed. Hmmm... :)

You never cease to amaze me with your musical taste and your "fuck it" attitude about sharing it, no matter how uncool it may be.

P.S. I, too, own a NKOTB cd. I had a garage sale where I sold a bunch, I mean a BUNCH of cds, and somehow that one got in the bunch. Thankfully, I was working the money and noticed that someone was trying to buy it. I was willing to give them money to NOT buy it. Luckily, they caved and realized the error of my ways. Their music was fun. Do they have something new now?

I go in November in L.A.
I.
Can't.
Wait.
And you said perm. Ha. Suddenly, the smell of perm solution filled my olfactory senses.

I wish I could have found my old plastic neon green and black earrings that said New Kids On the Block on them and sent them to you so you could have worn them to the concert! Hope it was a blast!!!

Hey its matt's sister- saw them in DC thursday- they were astounding...alternating between super awesome (re: super sweet effects) and ridiculous (re: jordan's white shirt stunt). my friend, a republican, was more upset that her favorite new kid (jonathan) was wearing an obama tshirt than she was that he was gay. I found this hilarious. My ears are still bleeding. Hope they rocked Cleveland!

:) Is the addition of alcohol different this time around?

Every day I come here, and every day there is no epic post about your NKOTB experience.

I can't tell you the sadness this brings about. Way to make a pregnant lady cry jerk.

ok, me and the above commenting person will hunt you down. Wtf, you know what its like to go to a blog expecting a story about NKOTB for an entire week and getting nothing? Is this a joke? Are you just pouring salt in the wounds of those who didn't go? dayum.
