Taking care of "business"

Okay I am working on a post about my weekend, but I have to interrupt myself and give you this breaking update:

I am on a conference call right now. Someone on here forgot to mute, and we heard the toilet flush. Awesome, right? That is straight up Naked Gun gold. However, less than a minute later we heard someone peeing and the toilet flush again. There is only one logical explanation for this:

Someone on this call is in a bathroom, sitting in a stall, taking a dump.

Best. Day. Ever.

It could've been that the previous stall user had taken a dump, and didn't flush.

But I like your explanation better. :D

Holy shit. (No pun intended.) I hope you know other people on that conference call well enough to discuss this with them later. This story pretty much sums up why I miss working. Stuff this funny doesn't happen at school. Dammit.

Too funny. Was there any grunting?

I believe the unwritten conference call etiquette is:

Take a pee - OK, if on mute
Take a dump - Not under any circumstances

Is it possible two different people on the call used the bathroom?

Hell, maybe they were in adjacent stalls?!

Nah, what are the odds...

I don't get that shit as a teacher. I just get kids puking in front of me, on the carpet in my classroom. Yeah, that's not as funny.

If I were still on those calls with you, I'd take credit for the plumbing orchestra. But since you fly solo on the KC, you'll have to just start thinking of each person in the meeting and imagining them on the can! All I know is who we can't blame. :-(
