I just need to know if Dylan McKay will be there

I am currently forming my 2008 poem entry commemorating how much the NCAA screwed me. That is to come.

In the mean time we should talk about the 90210 spinoff. Have you heard about this? It's not a remake. It's a spinoff-new kids living in the 90210 zip code. The team who wrote Veronica Mars is writing it. Apparently one of the girls is somehow related to David Silver. Read this and let's discuss our feelings on this most important life event.

You know how all of the American Pie sequels suck because really they have none of the original cast? Yeah that is my fear with 90210. Well that and the fact that I'm not sure they could ever recreate it.

But the upside is that Rob Thomas is on board...

Just don't bag on Siena! (my husband looks just like their coach and gets all sorts of hilarious random people coming up to him when he wears his fleece shirt with the Siena logo around playoff time. Um, yeah, Fran came home from Florida to run to the supermarket for milk. Sure. )

I don't think it can be the same at all.

I do watch 90210 on the Soap Network in the mornings on the weekends. Oh how I miss it!!!

Hmmm, I just hope they don't remake the old story lines. I mean there were some good ones. (see: those that involved Val, David on Meth, brandon doing his teacher) but a good number would not translate to today well. (See: the teen help line debacle, anthing to do with Steve, whatsoever.)

Do you know if Veronica Mars herself is going to be on? She is easy on the eyes. She could have me if she played her cards right.

I'm only on board if they have a David Silver wannabe who will sing that I'm precious to him.

That synopsis of the characters is the worst thing I've ever read. Could they please cram in one more current pop culture reference to date the series a little more? Not that I watched the original when it was on or would sit through an episode now.

No gay or lesbian character? That's disappointing.
