I just watched one tonight

Alright I'm just going to come out and say this as there's no really easy way to break it to you. You know those cheesy Christmas movies that are played constantly on Lifetime, the Hallmark channel, ABC Family, etc. around this time of year?

I am obsessed with those.

I can't help it. Goddammit I love those little buggers with their ridiculous story lines, cheesy dialogue, important life lesson and, usually, Patricia Heaton. I watch them all, and each one makes me warm and fuzzy inside. Mission accomplished Lifetime Television for Women. You sneaky little lady.

So now you know. And next time you see Olivia Newton-John breaking into a Christmas carol in a living room by a roaring fire, you will think of me and know that I am watching, and you will wish you were with me so you could punch me in the face.

Kim and Steph made me watch "Noel" for a second year in a row last night. At least Paul Walker is in it and he is so hot! Wrap him up and give him to me Sarah. That would be a cool present.

I watched three lifetime movies on sunday. Three! All christmas themed including an awful one with Tori Spelling. I do love those cheesy movies, so I won't judge you for this, I will however judge you for the holiday card I got yesterday. You are awesome if the man on the front is really your idea of an ideal mate, you know, the drunk man with the lampshade.

Hey, while you are out getting Diane's gift...I'll take a little George Clooney wrapped up. That would be a cool present. -Steph

I watched "A Boyfriend for Christmas," at least I think that's what it's called. Seen it twice now, but it's still pretty cool. Premise: pre-teen girl asks mall Santa for a boyfriend for Christmas. Waits and waits, but does she get her wish?
Rent it.

Oh I'm so into watching these movies too. I thought it was just me who gave into those holiday urges. A lady I work with watched "A Boyfriend for Christmas", and then later taped it for me ... because it reminded her of me. What the hell is that supposed to mean anyway? ;-)
