This is what you miss when you don't watch the news

I just saw a preview of a news story that will be seen on the local news tonight. It's about a retirement community where apparently all the people do is date each other and have "relations". The name of the news report? "The Town Viagra Built". This is disturbing on several levels:

1. Old people having sex

2. My grandparents live in retirement communities

3. Someone somewhere sat in a conference room and while reading about this story came up with the name "The Town Viagra Built". I can't decide if I love or hate this person, but one thing's for sure: I need to find a job where I get paid to come up with titles for things that include the word "Viagra".

"The Town Viagra Erected" would have been better.

I could totally own that job.

"The Town Viagra Erected with Really Old Wood" or "Building a dam with really old beavers and really old wood"

My guess would be that "old people" are all the people 20 years older than you. Until there are no people 20 years older than you, and then you're "old people."

I kid you not...last trip across the border, I witnessed my father buying Viagra from the Mexican pharmacy. I was wondering why my mom had that nervous smile. Ewwwww.

I heard it's better for guys in retirement homes because they are out-numbered by women. Women live longer, so if a man lives long enough to get in a retirement home, it's alllllll good. Someone has to please the ladies.

Damn, you news is so much better than ours. The last time they did a story about the old folks home here the title was
"Look Who's Beating Grandma Now".

Also from: http://mdn.mainichi-msn.co.jp/national/news/20070127p2a00m0na025000c.html

"When an orgasm has been achieved through sex, you can measure theta waves. These are also said to cause the "running high" feeling of euphoria experienced sometimes by marathon runners. If theta waves are taken as a criterion, the entire brain emits theta waves when women reach an orgasm that are close on 10 times stronger than when men climax. So, if theta waves are an indication of an orgasm's strength, then women experience an orgasm that is physically impossible for men to go through. Putting it a little crudely, if the intensity of a woman's orgasm was played through a man's brain, there's a danger that the shock to his system would kill him."

One word: AWESOME.

There's a lot of old people getting married lately, and Niagara Falls is a prime honeymoon spot, so I propose the following new slogan:
"Come to Niagara; bring that Viagra!"

BTW, doesn't everyone pronounce it 'niy-agg-rah'? I thought so, but I'm looking at the spelling...
