I used to keep diaries in 10th grade for the main purpose of recording every single excruciating detail about Dave L.'s and my forbidden romance. And by "romance" I mean my obsession with and subsequent pining for him.
I found them last night, and thought it would be fun to read them. But in one of the entries where I discussed riveting events such as turning in the rough draft for my chemistry paper and calling Dave but he wasn't there, I actually signed off by saying, "Well, I love Joey Lawrence!"
Loser.

can i be the first to say.... WHOA!
DAMMIT OTHER BROTHER!
I'm gonna do it anyway,
WHOA
Cute, but too clean cut for me. Whoa.
I can't believe you had friends either. Diane
I tried to watch a movie he was in once and every 10 minutes I expected him to look at the camera and say, "WHOA!". Totally ruined an otherwise retarded movie but it did make me laugh a little bit.
I was to marry Scott Baio.
Holy crap, AG! Me too!
I did love Joey, but my realy love was Jonathon Brandis. When I went to search for a pic of him I learned that he actually killed himself. I didn't keep up with him much after I got out of middle school, I sure can pick the winners can't I?
Nickel-I had a huge Jonathan Brandis poster from when he was on Seaquest up in my room until I moved out of my house when I was 23! Isn't it sad he killed himself? I still have my poster somewhere. I think it's in my parents' attic.
Not as bad as having to admit to going to not one but two NKOTB concerts.
Min Pin, um....guilty.
I never got into Joey or New Kids on the Block. When I was younger I loved David Bowie, U2, INXS, and Tragically Hip. My favorite movie was Rolling Stone's "20 Years of Rock 'n' Roll."
Jess, how come you are cool. We are supposed to be dorks when we are in junior high! Dammit Jess! :)
I have you all beat. I was going to marry Michael Jackson. Have his babies too! I have the doll, and he slept with me, and all my barbies too! (slut!) He slept around so much I never could find his pants! In retrospect, it's good things with us didn't work out. Ho Hum.
I'll always be your friend. I believe we bought his tape together. -Squirt
Yay! Hi, Squirt!!! Um, just so you know-you were all over my diary. I think you know that already. :) Love you!
P.S. I believe we did buy his tape together. And possibly from Parmatown mall.
Sara, I love the mini hairs on his chest in that picture.....its sooooo......manly....raaarrrrr.
I went to a NKOTB concert when I was at least 18. man that's gay
